We love stopping here on trips to southern Oregon. Their pastries are always delicious and the staff are friendly. The savory scone and molasses cookies are my go-to. It’s a small place that can get busy, but short waits and the prices are nothing I’m not used to in Portland. I can’t speak to the sandwich or brews quality, but I highly recommend if you’re looking for pastries.
Wow, just wow! After many years of living and then visiting relatives in Eugene, we finally drove down to Creswell to try this bakery. We. Will. Be. Back. Both the sweet and savory options were off the chart good, service was excellent and fast. Wife even found some gifts for friends while we were in line. The glaze on the sticky bun was other worldly, the breads on the sandwiches were so fresh and amazing! Just go, you won't regret it. There is no indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor seating so keep that in mind based on the weather.
I love this place! The few times I've been, the staff were incredibly kind, and the food is always amazing! I love the area it's in, and the decorations add a really nice homey touch to the place. I recommend their cookies or Ham and cheese pretzel bun.
My wife and I stopped on our way up to Seattle and it was sooo worth the detour! My wife got the chicken hand-pot-pie and I got the bacon egg and cheese hand pocket. We also grabbed a chocolate chip muffin to-go. All in all, cute spot- super friendly staff, great prices. We will be stopping here again on our future trips.
We come up to Portland from Los Angeles to see our son and make the 2 hour drive south to Creswell just for the bakery and some lunch. We discovered Creswell bakery when our son was at U of O in Eugene years ago. I wish I could go regularly but we make the trek every visit to Portland
Great selection of handmade breads, hand pies with various fillings, and sweet rolls. Plenty of outdoor seating. Our last visit was around 1:30pm and a couple of items might not have been as fresh as we had hoped. We purchased enough to share with friends and probably spent around $75 dollars on bread and pastries. Some we did not eat due to the freshness issue. Other items were freshly made. We will return again so even though they might not have been as fresh as some items they were still tasty.
Meat pie- excellent pastry. The meat needed seasoning, but there was a ton of it. Bacon egg pocket- don't need again. Soft bacon and overall kind of lackluster Hazelnut sticky bun- sticky, gooey, cinnamony, amazing. So very good. This is near perfect. Hazelnut and butterscotch cookie- good, not great. Tasty but nothing amazing.
I have driven past the Creswell Bakery billboard 15 times in the last few months while on a business trip. This time in my way back home, I decided to stop in. The staff was AMAZING! Super friendly and accommodating. My server provided a detailed description of each of the three items I ordered. There were so many yummy treats to choose from it was hard to narrow it down. Even the patrons outside were friendly. Now, this bakery is not located on a main street once you get off the freeway. I thought my GPS was wrong, but nope, it was there in what looked to me like a residential neighborhood. But trust me, this bakery is worth the detour! My only problem is now that I know where Creswell Bakery is and how delicious my items were, how can I not stop every time I go by from now on?
This was a must while in Oregon. EVERYTHING is from scratch 👩🍳🍞🥐🥖 You can smell it as soon as the doors open, and it was worth the minimal wait. Take and bake options available, but the fresh baked stuff was excellent! Definitely will be coming back when in the area.
So good I had to leave a 5 star review! The bacon cheddar egg pocket is delicious. There hazelnut brownie (crispy corner) and chocolate chip cookie were superb. You can taste the love! Thank you for humoring me with my coffee request of making the coffee with hot chocolate instead of water, it was rich and flavorful! Wonderful atmosphere, cozy vibes. There was a line but it moves quickly.
